The Horizon’s Day Care Committee is looking for input concerning the potential for a day care center in Fessenden. Surveys will be sent out to parents with day care aged children as well as other persons with an interest in the idea. What times would the service be needed? Would Saturday be needed? What kind of payment plan would you like to see? Where would be a good location? Would grants be available for the center? Any other comments?

Surveys have been sent out and some are coming back in. If you haven’t gotten yours yet, contact someone on the committee..Jenny Iverson, Marla Haugen, Carrie Opdahl, or Laurie Anderson. Your input is needed…..

How did you decide who to send surveys to?

Surveys were sent home with kids in school K-4 and with Preschool classes, but I think at least some classes were later than the others because of a storm day. Also the committee was taking names of people to sent them to if anyone knew of people with Day Care aged kids. If you know of more people that would be interested in a survey, let one of the committee people listed above know. They are still working on getting input…
